Our preventive care services provide your employees with a better understanding of their overall health and help minimize their chances of developing chronic diseases.

Biometric Screening

Biometric screenings include the measurement of physical characteristics, such as blood pressure, height, weight, and body mass index (BMI). They are key health assessments that can be used to determine an individual’s baseline health status, identify existing health conditions such as hypertension or diabetes, or evaluate changes in health status over time.

BMI, calculated from a person’s weight and height, provides a reliable indicator of excess body weight for most people, which may indicate an increased risk for health problems.

Fasting or non-fasting (finger-stick) blood glucose testing can also be performed during on-site events.

Acta health offers optional blood draws for Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides.

Personalized Health Consultation

Our health professionals will be available at on-site wellness events to provide one-on-one coaching or counseling to participants.

A healthcare provider will complement the employee’s biometric results with risk assessments for health conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. Personalized consultation related to nutrition, exercise, medications and stress management will be offered based on these assessments.

Participants can discuss health issues, gaps in health care and more specialized recommendations on diet, exercise and medication use with members of our healthcare team.

Each participant will have a better understanding of his or her overall health. With the assistance of our healthcare facilitators, participants are given the opportunity to address health concerns and identify additional resources available to them.

Disease Prevention

Our educators provide appropriate health recommendations and interventions to assist participants in determining how lifestyle habits and behavior changes can positively influence their health and prevent chronic diseases like diabetes and other cardiac conditions.

We help improve productivity and reduce healthcare costs for your company through our disease prevention and management programs.

On-site Flu Shot Clinic

Keep your employees and their families healthy by offering no-cost preventive vaccinations. Acta Health can conduct on-site flu immunization events administered by licensed and certified immunizers.

Acta Health offers Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services provided by licensed pharmacists. Our participant-centered service employs a comprehensive approach focused on optimizing therapeutic outcomes in individuals with multiple chronic conditions.

This specialized service includes a comprehensive review of the participant’s therapies (prescription, over the counter drugs and non-drug interventions), associated with chronic diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular disorders.

By coaching participants on their medications and recommending lifestyle modifications through MTM, they are empowered to manage their disease and therapies, thereby reducing healthcare costs and improving their quality of life.

The pharmacist can also address the proper use of medications, identify problems such as duplicate or unnecessary medications, or recommend additional therapies.

All MTM services are conducted professionally with full consideration of the participant’s privacy and concerns.

Health Monitoring

Our health facilitators will provide suggestions and recommendations for continuation of care after each individualized health coaching session.

Monitoring is essential to any wellness program. Acta Health offers a health monitoring program option to companies enrolled in a 3-year Wellness Program.

Employee Incentives Programs

Acta health works with employers to determine the level of incentives your company would like to offer.

Employers can choose from (but are not limited to)

1. 1. An incentive for each health event completed (e.g., attendance in a weight loss seminar or participation in a walkathon), or
   2. Recognition for an actual wellness achievement (e.g., weight loss of a specified number of pounds or lower cholesterol), or
   3. Employees rewards (e.g., monetary awards or non-monetary incentives)
